|The Virtual Career Network (VCN) is an open source career preparation platform for job seekers seeking opportunities in selected high paying, high growth industries. The VCN was originally created by a consortium of workforce focused organizations led by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) under a grant from the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) of the United States Department of Labor (DOL) in July 2010 to build and operate a Healthcare Virtual Career Platform (HVCP). The VCN is currently operated and maintained by XPAND Corporation with funding from DOL ETA and AARP.
|The VCN is copyrighted with the American Association of Community Colleges. The VCN is open source under GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE (GPL2).
